No tiered queues, no chatbot, no script. If you write, I write back. Most messages get a reply within one business day.
Bug reports, feature requests, billing, account recovery. Attach screenshots or screen recordings if you can.
Open Settings → Send feedback. Diagnostic info (app version, device, last error) is attached automatically — makes our turnaround much faster.
If syncing or login suddenly breaks for everyone, we post updates to the status page and via an in-app banner. Try there before emailing.
status.arcreader.appNine times out of ten one of these fixes it in under a minute.
Sources publish new chapters in bursts. A refresh rebuilds the index from source.
Settings → About. If the store has a newer build, ours is probably the fix.
Re-establishes the network path when a download stalls on flaky wifi.
Settings → Subscription → Restore. Forces the store to re-send your receipt.
Settings → Send feedback auto-attaches one. Saves us a round-trip asking for logs.

Two common causes. Either the source layout changed (we push adapter updates for popular sites weekly — update the app), or the page is gated behind a login Arc Reader can’t pass through. Email the URL and we’ll look.
Open Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. This asks Apple/Google to re-send your receipt to our system. Allow up to a minute. If it still won’t unlock, email your order ID and we’ll match it up manually.
Register an email on the old phone (Settings → Account). Your library syncs up within a minute. On the new phone, install the app and sign in — it downloads the same library. Downloaded chapter files are re-fetched in the background.
Yes. Everything already cached stays, forever. You just return to the coin-based model for new batch downloads. Cancel from the App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Because Apple and Google hold the money, they also issue the refund. Use reportaproblem.apple.com on iOS or the refund form in Google Play on Android. If your local consumer law gives you a direct right of return (EU 14-day, for example), write to us and we’ll help.
Yes. Settings → Account → Delete account. Synced library, progress, and highlights are purged within 30 days. Cancel any active subscription separately through the store — deleting the account does not automatically cancel it.
Force-quit and relaunch. If it still crashes, reinstall (your cloud library is safe if you registered). If it still crashes after reinstall, email with your device model and OS version — the crash report has likely already reached us.
Check that background audio is permitted for Arc Reader in system Settings and that battery-optimisation isn’t throttling the app (Android only). Our player publishes a Now-Playing widget so the OS keeps the session alive.
Guest-mode coins are device-local — they don’t survive uninstalling or switching phones. Register an email to keep your balance on our side. If you were registered and a balance is wrong, email your account email and the last coin transaction you remember; we have a full ledger and can reconcile.
Settings → Account → Export data produces a JSON bundle with your library, highlights, and reading progress. Chapter bodies are referenced by source URL, not bundled, since they belong to their publishers.
Not yet. iOS and Android only in v1. iPad is on the list; so is a macOS build via Catalyst. No ETA we’re willing to commit to.
